About Me

Welcome to Tri Balance Girl.  I'm a girl trying to balance life as a triathlete, mom, and military wife.  My name is Roxanne and there is a whole lot about me you will get to know as you read my blog.

First and most importantly, I will introduce you to the loves of my life.  My first love is my husband Matt.  We met in a college and have been together ever since.  Sounds so easy and trite, but I can assure you our love story is more of an awesome unbelievable novel.  Maybe I'll write a post about our love novel later.

After we graduated college, Matt and I both commissioned in the military.

I'm in the AF uniform and Matt is to my right.

Three years (well...almost... just 16 days short of our third anniversary) we welcomed our son Weston Nicklaus.  What a handsome young boy he is and he's brought more joy to our family than we ever imagined.  

Our military life is just a small part of who we are as a family.  

We are starting a new chapter in our lives.  After the arrival of baby W, I decided to separate from the military and focus on being a wife and mommy.  

I LOVE LOVE LOVE embracing every aspect of life.  I am excited to share the BIG and little things about our family.  Look forward to reading about our family adventures and everything I do to keep a healthy balanced life as a triathlete, mom and wife.
